National Apprenticeship Week

In honour of #NationalApprenticeshipWeek we would like to shine a spotlight on one of our current apprentices, Curtis.

Having started working for us in January 2022 as a labourer, Curtis became an apprentice with us last September.

Curtis is proving himself to be a real asset to the company with his conscientious attitude and he is doing fantastic in both the practical and theoretical sides to his course.

We strongly believe in upskilling our current employees, allowing them to expand their knowledge and enabling career development and supporting Curtis through his apprenticeship is testament to this.

At MJ Electrical Services we firmly maintain the value of apprenticeships not only for the individuals who undertake them but also for the company.

Employing apprentices like Curtis, is a great way for future proofing our business. The knowledge, skills and understanding the apprentices acquire allow them to fit into key roles within the organisation and offer a sustainable way to help build and grow a strong workforce. They also ensure we gain a competent employee who is the right fit for the business.

We currently employ 3 apprentices and have supported many more apprentices over the years to develop their careers within the electrical industry. We are always looking at onboarding aspiring new electrical apprentices. If this is something that would be of interest to you take a look at our careers page of our website and get in touch.
