Downsize and Refurbishment, John Lewis Peterborough

Client: Norstead
Location: Peterborough
Value: £3,500,000
Programme: 44 Weeks

The John Lewis Peterborough store development was a complex project to downsize and refurbish the existing store to facilitate the release of half the floor space of the store back to the Landlord. This project required extensive reconfiguration of the existing infrastructure. Phased works involved stripping back the infrastructure to shell and core before installation of new electrical services including lighting, power, fire, security, PA and data.

As part of this project we also delivered refurbishment to the mall entrance and display windows as well as the installation of a new electrical riser which serviced various floors.

All works were undertaken with a mindfulness that the branches priority was to maintain the operation of the store throughout the work.
