Last year, Mike was promoted to Electrical Project Manager — a milestone that reflects both his dedication and our commitment to developing talent from within.
Mike joined us nearly 12 years ago as part of our site-based team, starting out as an Electrician. Through consistent hard work and leadership, he progressed to Electrical Site Manager before stepping into his current role as Project Manager.
As Site Manager, Mike delivered a number of high-profile schemes including works at Kensington High Street, Harrods’ wine department, Mamma Mia! at The O2, Walworth Town Hall, major energy centres in Norfolk, and refurbishment projects for John Lewis & Partners and Côte Restaurants.
Since moving into project management, he has successfully overseen multiple programmes for the John Lewis Partnership, including national security and upgrade rollouts at various Waitrose stores, infrastructure improvements such as generator panel upgrades at Waitrose Cheltenham and specialist refits at John Lewis Oxford Street. He is currently completing the Waitrose Barnet L4L project, which is due to be handed over on Friday.
At our core, we believe in promoting from within. By investing in our people, creating clear progression pathways, and recognising performance. We foster long-term careers and maintain a loyal, experienced workforce with low staff turnover.
A great achievement and a strong example of what development and opportunity can look like in practice.
